Go, Baby, Go! Heartbeats Are Happiness!
Yuliya, joined by her family and friends, walked once again in the ‘March for Babies,’ benefiting the March of Dimes in order to fund research to improve the health of babies, preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. As many of her GPS coworkers are aware, this is a cause which has touched her family, personally.

Her sons, Ivan and Ilya, were born sixteen weeks premature, weighing 1 lb 7 oz, each, spending three months in NICU, before coming home. “We know, firsthand, the challenges that are associated with prematurity. It is important to discover why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it,” shared Yuliya. Now, five years later, her children walk in memory of their little sisters, Angelina and Gabriella.

Too cold to say “cheese,” everyone should have said,
“hot chocolate” for the team photo!
Yuliya thanked everyone for their compassion and help in fundraising. Her team raised $1,610 (far surpassing their $500 goal with donations continuing even after the event) in support of the March for Babies. Visit the March of Dimes website to learn more or to contribute.
