Senior Business Analyst

The role of the Senior Business Analyst at GPS:
A company may have the best equipment, well designed facilities, great products, and a solid customer base, however, many of these companies never achieve their full potential. The analysis is an eye-opening experience for both owners and employees, and offers a vision of what the organization seeks to accomplish. As a GPS Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze small- to medium-size businesses, determine the financial impact of ownership decision-making, corporate structure, business planning, and industry benchmarking. At the conclusion of the analysis, the Senior Business Analyst and the client will decide if it makes sense to move into the implementation phase, utilizing the resources of our Consulting Services Division. Analysts are given the tools and trained in the skills necessary to accomplish this task. However, successful analysts have attributes that cannot be taught. They are strong, dynamic, confident teachers, communicators and leaders with exceptional understanding and empathy.
Requirements of the GPS Senior Business Analyst:
Our Senior Business Analysts have degrees and experiences ranging from Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor, have a minimum of 10 years experience in at least one of the following areas: sales/marketing, business ownership, upper management, P & L, and/or operations.
This position requires extensive travel, extensive being defined as 75%-90% travel on a regular basis. Normally, you will receive two assignments per week, one or both of which may be away from home. You would leave on Sunday night and return on Wednesday or Friday evening. Your travel destination may be anywhere in the United States. GPS coordinates your flight arrangements and prepays your ticket to each assignment. Electronic ticketing allows you to immediately check in upon arrival for your flight.
Senior Business Consultant

Consultants impart the knowledge and experience gained thru ten plus years of senior management and/or business ownership on the client and key personnel within the client’s business, to improve the overall operation and bottom line performance.

Business plans may be developed, but seldom take in all the contingency plans for the pitfalls of the future. Changes in the workforce, marketplace and economy may have both positive and negative effects on the path of the dream. Our Senior Business Consultants offer the direction necessary to guide the client back on course. Modifications are recommended and implemented by the Senior Business Consultant that are based on the experience and creativity of the Consultant.
Requirements of the GPS Business Consultant:
We are seeking highly experienced, take charge, outgoing professionals who are seeking an opportunity to share their life work with our clients. We require: a Bachelor’s Degree, 10+ years of mid-to-upper level management experience, basic computer skills (knowledge of Word and Excel required), and the ability to read and interpret financial reports. Senior Business Consultants must be able to problem-solve and apply solutions to the client’s operation. The ability to work independently is essential.
This position requires extensive travel—travel being defined as any destination in excess of 80 miles from your home, and extensive being defined as travel out Sunday evening and returning home Friday evening.
